We went in to the pediatrician's office today for a weight check- Emily is at 6 pounds 1 ounce, which puts her just at the 10% mark for weight loss. It's normal for newborns to lose 10% of their original birthweight so we're going back Monday for a re-check to be sure she is starting to gain. She is eating like a champion so we're not too concerned, but if she is still losing weight we will supplement with formula.
She is doing wonderfully- sleeping for about 2-3 hours at a time and feeding regularly. She is alert several times during the day and is so fun to look at and watch. We're losing hours of productivity watching our little lady!

Make sure it is set to search for October 2007 babies.
Type in "Fer" where it asks for the first three letters of mom's last name.
Change the state to WV.
Click "Find the baby!"
Then click on Emily F, Cabell Huntington Hospital. There's our girl!!
