Christmas 2013!

 The girls and Paul and I have had such a joyous holiday season- lots of parties and quality time together...it has been very sweet!  We've enjoyed our new puppy, Quincy, immensely and he and Katie seem to have an understanding of who is boss (it's definitely not Quincy).  We wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, too! :)

  Emily had a ballet performance of The Christmas Shoes... very moving!  Here she is, hamming it up for me beforehand. :) 

Christmas Eve, after church, we donned our matching jammies (year number 3 of these!) and got things ready for Santa!

These crack me up- typical reactions to Christmas morning, based off their personalities.  Emily is ready to go and pumped up...Audrey needs more time and maybe a cup of coffee?? :)

Emily is 5 years and 7 months old!

Another crazy busy month-- Emily is now signed up for Kindergarten (Class of 2026!) and is sliding into the home stretch of preschool.  Swimming lessons are over and tball has begun- and she is actually really good at tball!  Here's our month, in photos!

Before her dance recital- she was a Munchkin in the show "Over the Rainbow" (a Wizard of Oz adaptation).

 - On vacation at Myrtle Beach-- at Ripley's Aquarium:

 - She spent every day swimming for HOURS-- I bet you anything she flipped over 1000 times in the water...not exaggerating one little bit!

Emily is 5 Years and 3 Months Old!

Emily has had a great month- here's the rundown so you can catch up!

-She started swimming lessons, which she loves.  She's a natural!

 - We played outside every chance we got....which was almost no chances, but we did what we could!

- She had a Valentine's party for a bunch of girls from school- they had SO MUCH FUN with their manis, pedis, and new hairstyles!  And I had such fun hanging out with their mamas (and dad!)- thanks for helping me hold down the fort Jessica, Belinda, Jenny and Jeff!

-She got a big girl haircut at the salon:

-Got an adorable pillow for her bed when a friend changed her baby's name at the last minute. ;)

-She was THRILLED to dress like her sister for church (hahahaha.... so untrue.  The actual problem was the turtleneck [she HATES them], not dressing like Audrey).

-She likes dressing like Audrey- see?

-We spent a snow day at the theater seeing Monsters Inc in 3D.`1

-She climbed into Audrey's crib and cuddled her (many days- Audrey LOVES this!)

-visited our good friends in Columbus and got to hang out with Wynn!

-Played hard with Lila and Caroline and then crashed and watched a movie.

-Dressed herself in JEANS (this is HUGE, people!)

 -Tickled Audrey like crazy. :)

-Got a mini-mani at the salon on her haircut day. :)
